MACOS 14 OR LATER · APPLE SILICON
What you need
- A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 Sonoma or newer. There is no Intel, Windows or Linux build.
- At least one coding agent CLI installed and signed in, such as Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI. Hypervibe runs the binaries already on your PATH under your own subscriptions; it does not ship them and needs no API keys.
- A microphone if you want voice control. Speech is transcribed on the Mac; only the command text and the short replies the app speaks go through Hypervibe's servers. Everything else works without one.
- A Google or email sign-in to link the app to your license. Your code, microphone audio and sessions never go through that account.
Install the CLIs first
Hypervibe adds a console for any CLI on your PATH, so set up the agents you use before the first launch. These are the commands each project documents; sign in the way its vendor asks, with the plan you already have.
curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash # Claude Code, or: brew install --cask claude-code
npm install -g @openai/codex # Codex CLI, or: brew install --cask codex
npm install -g @google/gemini-cli # Gemini CLI, or: brew install gemini-cli
The side-by-side guide walks through sign-in for each and how to keep three agents off each other's files. Any other executable you can run in a terminal can be added as a custom agent from inside the app.
Verify a build
Your account dashboard shows the current installer and its SHA-256 checksum. To check a file you downloaded, in Terminal:
shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Hypervibe-<version>.dmg- Replace <version> with the version you downloaded. The output must match the checksum in your dashboard, character for character.
First launch
Once your download is availableOpen the DMG and move Hypervibe into Applications. Open Hypervibe, choose Sign in, then continue in your browser with the same account you used to subscribe. Return to the app to start your board.
Release details
Open your dashboard for the current version, download size and checksum. If an update causes a problem, contact support with the version and what happened.
Updates
Hypervibe checks for signed updates in the app. When an update is ready, you choose when to restart. You can also download the current installer from your dashboard.
Follow the release
